Having a new blog is like being a first-time parent, you probably don't know what you are doing at the beginning, but your blog would be depending on you and you must take it seriously. There are lots of widgets and plugins out there that you can install on your blog which will add more interest and capabilities to it. Also enhance your new blog with some sharing capabilities, comment options, analytics, images and some static pages which will play a vital role for SEO purposes.
The next step is to read other important blogs so that you would know some tips on how to manage your new blog. You can even single out some pro-bloggers who write on same niche with you and link to their blogs through your blogroll. If you read their articles, take the time to leave comments on the blogs and I assure you that some of those bloggers will reciprocate.
Make sure you always respond to people who leave comments on your blog because blogging is more exciting if you can get a dialogue going with your readers.
In addition, Update your blog frequently with fresh and unique contents. Eventually, you will find your blog voice and posting will come together more easily, this attention will help your new blog to flourish.
This stage is very important, When your blog begins to attract readers and you begin to see stable traffic, you might think of launching another blog and this is when blogging can get complicated. Parenting comes with big responsibility, so don't have new blogs you can't take care of.
