iPhone 5 Price in Nigeria

Apple has finally unveiled the iPhone 5 in a big apple event held on September 12, 2012, putting an end to all rumors. The latest Apple smartphone that has been reported to be 20 percent lighter than iPhone 4S, features a 8 megapixel iSight camera, a taller screen (4-inch Retina display) and supports ultrafast wireless standards including LTE and DC-HSDPA.

The iPhone 5 price in USA with contract was revealed during the big Apple event. You can get iPhone5 for $199 (16GB), $299 (32GB) or $399 (64GB) on contract.



As seen in the picture above, The iPhone 4 will be free on contract (8GB) model while the 4S will be $99 (16GB).

So, What is the Price of iPhone 5 in Nigeria?

According to a post on GSMArena, the UK prices for the iPhone 5 will start from £529 (around €660) for the 16GB model. The German and French SIM-free prices start from €679.

This simply means the price of iPhone 5 without contract will start from $882. If you convert this to Nigerian currency, this means the price of iPhone 5 in Nigeria will be around N140, 000 for the 16GB model. This is just an estimate.  When the iPhone 5 gets into Nigeria, I will update you with the actual price and where to buy the iPhone 5 in Nigeria.

iPhone 5 pre-orders start on September 14, while Apple stores will start selling the new iPhone on September 21.
