Google Site Status Tool Lets You See Whether A Website Is Currently Safe To Visit




There are lots of unsafe websites online these days many of which are legitimate websites that have been compromised. If you navigate to those dangerous sites or download dangerous files from those sites, you will fall victim of web-based threats like malware, unwanted software, and social engineering.

If you care about online security issues, you can check the current safety status of a web page without having to visit it by making use of the Google site status tool powered by Google’s Safe Browsing technology.

If you input a webpage (as a URL, website, or domain) into the tool, the most recent results of the safe browsing analysis for that webpage are returned...plus references to troubleshooting help and educational materials.

  3. Jide, thanks for this information. Thanks also to Google for this timely innovation. This will make it easier for everyone to test the status of a website before visiting them especially if such sites are suspected to house malware.

    I just tested my sites with the tool are got "No Unsafe Content Found" response. It's really lovely.
