How to Add a Website Link to the Start Menu

Below is a trick for you to add a favorite website link to the start menu.

Right click on START and click on EXPLORE
After Windows Explorer opens, in the wide right pane, RIGHT CLICK and select NEW/SHORTCUT

In the “Type the location of the item” box, enter the Website URL you want to create. An example would be (without quotes) “http://customizesms.com”

Click Next
In the “Type a name for this shortcut:” box, enter any name you like for the link that you want to display in the Start menu.

Click Finish

Now click on the Start menu and you will see the new link you just created.
Try to click on it and it will open up the website.
ENJOY.
