How To Add and Delete Beneficiary From GTBank App

In this post, I want to share with you, how to remove a beneficiary from a bank account using gtbank app as an example. If you haven’t transfer money to a beneficiary in a long time or you think that you won’t be paying them again, you can remove them from your beneficiaries list.

If you want to delete beneficiary from gtbank app, follow me through the steps below :

Open the GTBank app on your mobile phone

Login with your GTBank username and password

Tap on “Transfers”

While on “Saved Beneficiary” tab, select the transfer type. Select “transfer to other banks” if the beneficiary you want to delete is not using gtb account. Else, select transfer to gtbank a/c.

Select the account to debit

Tap the “beneficiary” field to pop up list of saved beneficiaries on your gtbank account.

Tap the red icon next to the beneficiary you want to remove from the gtbank app as seen in the screenshot below :

You will see a prompt asking you to confirm if you want to delete the beneficiary from your list

Tap YES

Thereafter, you will be required to enter your gtbank app transaction PIN.

Enter the PIN and tap the “confirm delete” button.

You will see “Beneficiary successfully deleted” if successful.

Repeat same for all beneficiaries you want to delete from your bank account.

You can call GTConnect +2348039003900, +2348029002900 or use the VOIP phones at gtbank branches and follow the voice prompt to remove beneficiary from your gtbank account.

How To Add Beneficiary To GTBank Account

After you sign in to your GTBank app, tap on “transfers” and tap the “new beneficiary” option

Complete the transfer form and select “YES” when prompted to save the beneficiary.
