BBNaija Channel 29 on GoTV Not Showing, Displaying Invalid Channel? Here is How To Fix It

Season 6 of Africa’s biggest reality Television show, Big Brother Naija, premiered Saturday 24th July 2021 on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29. The bbnaija live show was also aired on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban and Africa Magic Family.

Unfortunately, some GoTv subscribers have not been able to watch the bbn show on their their gotv decoder. Some are complaining that the bbn gotv channel 29 is not showing, while some are saying that the channel 29 on gotv is showing invalid channel. Well, some users have been able to resolve this after they reset or rescan gotv decoder.

Whatever the case may be, try the fix below if you are sure your gotv subscription has not expired :

• Press “Menu” on your GoTV remote
• Select “Advanced Settings”
• Select “Installation”
• Select “tuning”
• Select “automatic scan”
• Select “OK’

Once scanning completes, press the exit button on your remote and view the gotv channel 29.

You can as well restart your GoTV decoder.

If it’s showing GOTV error E016 , you can clear this by sending “RESET IUC to 4688” using the phone number linked to your GoTV decoder. You can also dial visit http://eazy.gotvafrica.com/?country=Nigeria to clear gotv error codes.

What Is Channel 29 on GOtv?

Channel 29 on GOtv used to be the dedicated channel for the 24/7 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) live feed. However, this channel is no longer active. This dedicated bbnaija channel on GOTv was available on GOtv Supa, GOtv Max, and GOtv Jolli packages, but not on GOtv Jinja.

Don’t worry, you can still enjoy the drama! BBNaija now airs on channel 49 on GOtv.

The big brother naija channel on GOtv broadcasts the main show, live eviction shows, and other BBNaija-related content.
