In this post, I want to quickly share with you, how to check inec polling unit where you can vote during the general elections in Nigeria.
A Polling Unit is a public place, enclosure, booth or shade recognized by INEC where registered voters cast their votes on Election Day.
On each Election Day, polling stations will open for Accreditation and Voting from 8:00 am to 2.00 pm. However, voters on the queue before the close of poll at 2:00pm will be accredited and allowed to vote.
If you’re qualified to vote in the general elections in Nigeria, you are expected to go to your assigned polling unit to cast your vote.

Enter Your Polling Unit Code.
Click the “Get Directions” button.
Details of your polling unit will be displayed, which includes :
- Polling Unit
- Registration Area
- Local Government
- State
- Polling Unit Code
In addition, there is a “get directions” button you can click to see directions on google maps.

You can go to : http://voterreg.inecnigeria.org, click on “polling unit” and follow the instruction.
How Can I Get My Polling Unit Code?
Your polling unit code is written on your PVC above your Photograph.
Alternatively, you can get it during pvc status verification.

To be allowed to vote, you must have your permanent voter’s card (PVC).
