How To Fund MoMo Agent Account In Nigeria

Once you open MTN MoMo agent account, you will be required to have some fund in it before you can carry out financial transactions as MTN mobile money agent. You can fund your MoMo account directly from your bank using your bank mobile app, MyMTN app, online, etc then from your MoMo account you can fund your MoMo wallet.
So in this post, I will share with you, how to fund MoMo agent account in Nigeria, using the GTBank mobile app or GTBank Internet Banking.
To fund MoMo Agent account from GTBank account,
- sign in to your GTBank app or internet banking dashboard
- select “transfers”
- select “new beneficiary”
- select “transfer to other banks(instant)”
- select account to debit
- select “AccessYello and Beta” as the bank you want to send to. Very Important!
- enter your mtn number used to register for MoMo agent as the account number you want to send money to. (without the first zero)
- once your name displays as the beneficiary name, proceed to entering the amount you want to fund
- press “continue”
- enter your PIN and send.
That’s all.
Wait for your bank acount to be debited, after which you can proceed to check your MoMo balance.
How To Check MTN MoMo Agent Account Balance
- Dial the mtn momo agent code : *502#
- Enter 5 to view balance
- Enter your MoMo wallet PIN.
Your MoMo wallet account balance will be displayed and it will also be sent to you via SMS.
NOTE
You can also try funding from other banks in Nigeria. Al you need to know is that you’re sending to “AccessYello and Beta” as the bank while your MTN number that was used to register for MoMo, serves as your account number (without the first zero).
