How To Add Feedburner Email Subscription Form BELOW Blog Posts of Blogger/Blogspot Blogs

If you take a close look at my blog as at the time of publishing this post, you will notice the Feedburner Email Subscription Box below my blog posts. You can also add it below each of your blog posts if you follow this tutorial carefully.

If you add the form below your blog posts, there are chances that your blog readers will opt in to subscribe to your blog, provided your blog makes a lot of sense to them. As at the time of posting this; my blog, OgbongeBlog.com has 6000+ subscribers.  You too can….

For you to add the subscription form below your post, you must have an active Feedburner account and must have the code of your Email subscription box handy.  If you have not yet burn your feed at Feedburner.com or you do not know how to get the code of your Email Subscription Form, kindly read : “How To Add Feedburner Email Subscription Form To Blogger Blogs” and copy the code of your subscription form into a notepad.
STEPS

Go to:  http://www.blogcrowds.com/resources/parse_html.php to parse the code of your subscription box. If you do not know how to parse the code, just copy your code into the box on the page and click the “Parse” button. You will see a new code. Copy it somewhere.
Log in to your Blogger Blog
Go to Design and click “Edit HTML” if you are using Blogger Old Interface OR go to Template and click on “Edit HTML” => “Proceed” , if you are using the new Blogger interface.
Tick the “Expand Widget Template” box.
Use “CTRL F” to find <div class=’post-footer’>
Directly under the <div class=’post-footer’> , paste your parsed code of the subscription box and save your template.
View one of your posts and you should see the subscription box below the post.
Note: You can adjust the width of the form by changing the width size inside the code. You can also restrict it to “Post Pages” if you do not want it to be displaying below each posts on the homepage of your blog just as I explained when sharing How To Add Adsense Ad inside Blogger Blog Posts.
Please, make use of the comment form below if you have contributions to make or just want to ask questions.
Cheers!

How To Add FeedBurner Email Subscription Form To Blogger/Blogspot (Pictoral Tutorial)

With Feedburner Email subscription form, you can easily build your own Email List for FREE via your blog.  I have been using this on my blog and honestly speaking over 80% of OgbongeBlog subscribers are EMAIL subscribers. If you are an internet marketing pro, I believe you know what this means in terms of making money online. Today, I am going to show you how to add the Feedburner Email Subscription form to your blogger blog.

If you are new to blogging and do not know what I am talking about, the picture below is what Feedburner Email Subscription form looks like:

The form is delivered by FeedBurner. When anyone subscribes, by entering his/her email address inside the form, he/she will receive an email containing your blog post whenever your blog is updated. This makes it easier for your blog readers not to be missing any new post you publish on your blog. This, I also believe helps in building trust.

Steps in Adding The Form To Your Blog

1.First,Sign in to your FeedBurner account.

If you don’t have a FeedBurner account yet, you might need to first add “Follow By Emailgadget to your blog, before proceeding to Feedburner.com

2. Once logged in, Click on the “My Feeds” link at the top of the page and next ,click on your blog name[look at the picture below ]

3.Next,Click on the ‘Publicize‘ tab as shown below.

4.Select the “Email Subscriptions” option[look at the left sidebar]

5.Next, you will see like this

Click on ‘Activate

6.If you look at the sidebar now, there are a few more options under the Email Subscriptions column namely Subscription Management,Communication Preferences,Email Branding and Delivery options.Edit them according to your needs.
Now,Click on the Subscription Managemant option and copy the code they provide[see the picture below ]

7.and…………Finally,the last step

Sign in to your blogger dashboard>Design>add a page element>html/javascript

and paste the code and SAVE THE CHANGES.

That’s all.

Note: You can edit the width of the form in the code you copied in step 6 and its always good to paste it on the sidebar.

I hope this helps….
