In this tutorial, I am sharing with you how I use to convert .divx videos to .avi formats. Once you convert to .avi, you can convert to other popular video formats out there and even convert it to Apple supported formats so you can play the converted video on your iPad.
Simplest way to shift a .divx file to a .avi is virtualdub
Download the zip file and extract the content into a folder. Launch the .exe file
Click on the VIDEO tab and choose “direct stream copy“
Go to File, select “Open a video file“. Then, go back to “File” and choose “Save as avi“
Choose your destination location for it to be saved. Wait for the conversion and once done, you can start enjoying your video.
