How To Use DomainKing Nameservers for WhoGoHost Domain Name

You can use WhoGoHost domain name with your DomainKing web hosting plan. All you need to do is to enter the domainking nameservers as the custom nameservers of the domain name you registered at WhoGoHost.com.

Buying a domain name and web hosting plan from two different web hosting companies is recommended for some reasons.

If you ever get mad at your web host and decide to completely switch to another host, you don’t have to do anything except update your DNS settings at the domain registrar to point to the new host. This won’t be easy if you are using the same host for your domain name and web hosting because you will have to transfer your domain; a process that is time-consuming and can be annoying.

When you keep your domain name and hosting separate with two different hosting companies, even if an hacker gets access to your files, your domain name will be safe; in as much as the hacker doesn’t know where you registered the domain name and you are not using the same login and password for the two different web hosting companies.

So, How Do I Use DomainKing Nameservers for WhoGoHost Domain Name ?

  • Login to WHoGoHost.com

  • Click the “Change Nameservers” button.

That’s all.

NOTE 1: Once the nameservers are changed, all the custom DNS records for your domain will be overwritten to the DNS records you set at DomainKing. You will be able to re-create them in your cPanel Advanced DNS Editor and MX Entry menu where you can manage domain’s email settings.

NOTE 2: When you switch nameservers for a domain name, these changes are not accepted instantly all over the world. It may take up to 24 hours (in rare cases more) for the DNS changes to take effect.
