You can now watch netflix for free in Kenya as netflix officially launches a free plan in kenya that will allow users to watch 25% of all movies and shows found in the platform’s paid tier.
When you sign up on netflix.com, no payment information is required. All you have to do is enter your email, confirm you are 18 or over and create a password. Then you can sit back and watch many of Netflix’s most popular series and films, as well as enjoy personalized recommendations, parental controls, and profiles (including kids).
The netflix kenya free plan allows people to enjoy Netflix ad-free on Android mobile phones in Kenya. Shows that are not included in the free plan will be marked with a lock icon. Clicking on one of those titles will encourage the user sign up for a paid option. Some functions, such as the ability to download a show or movie, will not be available under the free plan.
If you’ve never watched Netflix before, this is a great way to experience NetFlix in Kenya. And if you like what you see, it’s easy to upgrade to one of the NetFlix paid plans so you can enjoy the full catalog on your TV or laptop as well.
Netflix’s free Android plan for users in Kenya launched Monday and will continue rolling out over the coming weeks. The company didn’t disclose how long it plans to offer the netflix free plan in Kenya — and whether it is considering expanding this offering to other markets.
This is also not the first time Netflix is offering its service for free — or at little to no price. The company has previously supported free trials in many markets, offered limited episodes of its original movies and shows for free to non-subscribers.
Netflix as well as Amazon Prime Video and other streaming services are increasingly trying to win customers outside of the U.S. to maintain faster growth rates. So, I’m hoping very soon, we will also be able to watch netflix for free in Nigeria 🙂
Which means it’s not a full access?
