Today, I discovered whatsapp images not showing in gallery app of my Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro ZD552KL Android phone i.e I can’t see whatsapp sent images in gallery. After googling it up, I was able to fix the problem.
How?
Launch the ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro File Manager App
Tap on the three horizontal lines at the top left corner of the app
Tap on “internal storage” > “whatsapp business” > “media” > “whatsapp business images”
Tap on the three dotted menu towards the right, tap on “Settings” and toggle off “hide system files”
Navigate back to the “whatsapp business images” folder and you will see the “sent” and “private” folders
Inside both folders, there’s a file called .nomedia
Delete the file and re start your phone.
Thereafter, launch your Gallery app and you should see the whatsapp images folders via the Gallery App Albums tab
Alternatively,
Just go to the Google Playstore, download QuickPic gallery app.
Open the QuickPic gallery app.
Choose the three dotted menu towards the right, Press on Show hidden.
NB : The QuickPic gallery app will enable you easily see all the photos in the hidden whatsapp folders.
That’s all.
I hope this helps.
