The 2012 Nigerian Blog Awards has come and gone but guess what? Our blog, “OgbongeBlog” emerged the “judges’ choice” as the winner of the BEST TUTORIAL BLOG in Nigeria for the year 2012. This was announced via a Live Twitter event @naijablogawards on 19th of Nov, 2012, and also published on the NigerianBlogAwards website.
If you may recall, “OgbongeBlog” was the winner of the “Nigerian Best Science/Tech Blog” in 2011, at a time when there was no “Best Tutorial Blog” category. In 2012, the organizers introduced the “Best Tutorial Blog” category and am very happy that our blog clinched the award because it’s not easy at all considering the number of quality Nigerian blogs out there that also focus on tutorials.
So, I give all praises to God Almighty for making this happen. I thank the judges and organizers of the awards for encouraging and recognizing excellence in blogging and to all those who nominated and voted for our blog, I pray God continue to bless you all. If for some reasons, you were unable to nominate and vote for us but reading this, thanks for been a loyal reader. God Go Make You Bigger.
Thanks once again and I promise I will keep trying my best to publish great tutorials on this blog.
